When you are planning your visit to the Black Hills, make sure to stop into Prairie Edge Trading Co. & Galleries located in downtown Rapid City. It is, hands down, the best place to shop in the Black Hills! They offer high quality, unique products that are great for gift giving or for yourself!

They have the store organized in different sections. I love this aspect of the store because depending on what I am looking for, I can easily go to that section, rather than having to browse through the whole store. They have a bookstore, Native American made products, a fine art gallery, purses, jewelry, beads, Pendleton blankets (which I love!), and so much more. You almost step back in time to the Old West when you visit Prairie Edge. They actually offer in-house educational and informative tours that provide a brief synopsis about the store as well as an intro into the Native American culture. Just make sure to call ahead if you want a tour.
