The Un-dead Make-Up Tutorial

My boyfriend and I went to Deadwood, SD for the annual Deadweird event! There is some big money to be made with the costume contests so of course we wanted to dress up! Below is the transformation! I even included a time lapse video on how I did my boyfriend's makeup!

Our final look vs our inspiration!

​Start by adding a good amount of styling gel to your hair, and the curlers and let them set your hair while you do your makeup.

Start by outlining the look you want. I of course used Pinterest and came up with a good option!

Fill in the black makeup of the outline you created. Then start adding the lighter colors and blend accordingly. I did not have costume makeup so I had a challenge blending. Next year I will definetly be purchasing costume makeup!

Add some concealer or base to even out your skin color. Then blend in the other areas you want to create darker areas.

Now it's time to take out the curlers and do a messy up-do! I added some foam in there to give it more height. 

Now time for the best part of doing the makeup...adding the gore!

After a whole slew of adding more colors, blending and tweeking areas: bing, bang, boom...and the end result!

I also did my boyfriend's undead makeup and we made a time-lapse video!
