Deadman’s Hand Makeup Tutorial

For Halloween this year we decided to dress up as the undead. The name of our duo costume was “Deadman’s Hand” which is Wild Bill Hickok’s famous poker hand when he was shot at Saloon 10 in 1876. The hand was two pair of black A’s and 8’s but the 5th card is unknown and highly debated.

Each year Downtown Deadwood, SD hosts a huge Halloween party, Deadweird, where everyone dresses up.

 There are a variety of costume contests with some big prize money, so people really get into it! This is our second year competing and we went all out this year to try and win! We tied for fourth place at the Cadillac Jack’s costume contest and won $300!
