Carmel Sticky Bun Recipe
1 bag of frozen dough balls
1 box (3oz) of cook top (NOT instant) butterscotch pudding
1 stick of unsalted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup pecans (optional)
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
The night before you are going to make this recipe:
Lightly grease a 9” x 13” pan
Place 12-15 dough balls on the pan, spaced evenly apart. Note: if you want the rolls to be more gooey either use less dough balls or double the amount of toppings.
In a saucepan, melt together the butter, brown sugar, pudding dry mix, and cinnamon together. Pour sauce over the dough balls (and the raisins and pecans if you want) and let sit, uncovered overnight. The dough balls will rise so make sure they are in a warm area.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Take out of the oven and use a platter to place over the top of the pan. Flip over so the carmel rolls fall out of the pan and onto the platter. You want the gooey roll tops to be showing.
Serve and enjoy!
